The tracks in greater detail are as follows:
Ray Noble medley (Pt. 1) (The Very Thought Of You/The Touch Of Your Lips/Love Is The Sweetest Thing); What A Perfect Night For Love (MBW); Sunshine And Shadows; There's Something In Your Eyes; Sweet And Lovely (SHO); Out Of Nowhere (RF); If I Didn't Have You (RF); Actions Speak Louder Than Words (SHO); It's Great To Be In Love; My Sweet Virginia (DDB); You're My Everything (RF); My Romance (so); I Can't Write The Words (LS); Let Me Give My Happiness To You (LS); It's Within Your Power; There's A Cabin In The Pines; You Oughta Be In Pictures; True (ML); The Prize Waltz; You Opened My Eyes*; Bonjour Mam'selle*; Al Bowlly Remembers (Pt 2) (I'm Gonna Sit Write Down And Write Myself A Letter/Auf Wiederseh'n, My Dear)(so); Walkin' Thru Mockin' Bird Lane (RM)
DDB - Durium Dance Band; RF - Roy Fox; ML - Monia Liter; RM - Ronnie Munro; so - studio orch; SHO - Savoy Hotel Orpheans; LS - Lew Stone; MBW - Marius B. Winter; all others Ray Noble, including *his American orchestra.
This compilation numbers 23 tracks, so I'm disappointed it neglects to include either of the two medleys in their entirety. But as a selective trawl through the thirties it's otherwise welcome, with clear sound and a pleasant surprise in the shape of a Marius B.Winter track. Otherwise the emphasis is on Ray Noble, Roy Fox and Lew Stone, and if there are enough "gap-fillers" here you should feel confident to buy without hesitation.
