The original Uniques formed in the 1960s, were one of the most famous reggae harmony groups of the time. In the mid 1990's, producer Niney The Observer assembled a new incarnation of the group 'The Uniques' for an album project. To this end he paired original member Jimmy Riley with former member, Cornel Campbell and Al Campbell. At the time all three had their own flourishing solo careers. On this album all three take turns here to demonstrate their own distinct styles on lead to the delight of their own individual fans. With this collective weight of individual Reggae icons, you could actually call this a super group version of a classic group.
